Then you have to hire a tech to deal with the VMware server that handles
all that. My GF has an intern tech who handles the PC tech tasks -
ghosting new images for lab PCs, taking care of their file server, etc.
Most of the other libraries in her system don't have their own techs.
Anybody who knows how to handle a VMware server is going to be using
that knowledge to be out working for real money, not part time tech
work, like she has. :-)
The library tech support doesn't want to handle the complexities of
having to roll out images, keep the segments separate so there's no
traffic leaking out into the staff segments, especially when the library
hosts Teen Game Night, and they have Doom tournaments in the lab ...
