Re: [PLUG] Linux Gaming - Feasible?

I'd like to add that native games on Linux seems to be seeing some recent activity (albeit mostly from "indie" houses). Check out ubuntugamer.com for news on Linux games. Also, more commercial game engines are supporting native builds on Linux now. So you might be able to expect even more offerings in the future.

PS: Just a few hours ago we used Wine to play a LAN-based spaceship simulator at Philadelphia's local geekspace Hive 76. We had a freakin' blast!

More than feasible just use the newest WINE (v1.3.11) from the ppa. Every game title(appdb.winehq.org) has it's own quirks(bugs.winehq.org) which isn't anything new and even Steam works pretty well now that they switched to using webkit.
