Does anybody know what kernel module is needed to get a usb microphone working? I've tried to search through the kernel configuration settings, but don't find anything for a usb mic at all.
When I run a small usb headset, I need snd_usb_audio, and snd_hwdep running. Best I can remember, enabling USB audio under Alsa in sound devices while configuring a kernel is all I require to get both the microphone and speaker working.
