Overview:

 

Responsibilities:

As a member of the Systems Engineering team you will help design and implement infrastructure components to support the current and future set applications.  Make recommendations especially with regard to best practices, high availability and disaster recovery scenarios. Provide level-three support to triage real world E-Commerce production issues. Architect, build and deploy solutions that resolve complex issues using a wide variety of hardware and virtualization technologies.

 

Qualifications:

This position requires the ability to dig deep into technology issues, both hardware and software, research and supply or create solutions, document clear sets of consistent processes and procedures for teams to follow, and share your knowledge with team members in a learning environment.

 

Required Skills:

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Xen technologies such as Citrix XenServer, OpenXen and Oracle Virtual Machine
  • ISCSI experience and SAN or FC backgrounds with EMC storage arrays
  • Oracle RAC DB OS support
  • Experience with HP hardware DL servers and BL blades and datacenter server deployment and layouts
  • Traditional programming background in a high and low level languages
Compensation based on prior earnings and experience.
