Yes, they exist at the default locations under /var/lib/mythtv. I also tried
mounting to /home/mythuser/music although that is where I am not exactly
sure of the path syntax. I tried:
sudo mount -t nfs -o vers=3 192.168.1.240:/var/lib/mythtv/music
/home/mythuser/music

For example, but it did not work.

I completely misread your original question.

"[mount point] does not exist" indicates a *client* problem. Do the
/music and /videos directories even exist on your client?

If not, you won't be able to mount anything to them.
