I haven't looked at Horde in a while. I went online and reviewed the docs and googled around to do a quick evaluation of Horde, and I concluded that there would be nothing quick about doing an evaluation of Horde. Is there any kind of installation doc that JUST WORKS? I found lots of install docs that look like they'll need heavy adaptation, but nothing that simply works. I don't care what distro it uses as long as it is at least free as in beer. Preferences in order: 1. A liveCD or something that will just install a working VM. 2. A virtual appliance that can be made to run on virtualbox. 3. A set of line-by-line install instructions with a reference to a specific version of a distro that it works on. Install instructions include ALL pre-requisites beyond running the distro's own installer. It must get you from stock distro to fully configured and running Horde/IMP. I don't need it to be integrated with anything I already have, or if it runs as root on the box/mysql, or whatever. I just want to see what it is like before I invest the 75 hours that are likely needed to get it working on my own server... :) Rich ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
