[PLUG] OT Windows virtual desktops (was Re: 2013-05-14 PLUG N F/U)


OT, but related in that lots of us like virtual desktops and have to use Windows for $WORK.

I've used WindowsPager for a long time - it's useful.  I recently switched to VirtuaWin, though, and I think I prefer it.

Probably a "6 of one, half-dozen of the other" situation, but thought I'd throw it out there.....

Cool, I wasn't aware of that one. It looks more configurable, with better docs. Per http://virtuawin.sourceforge.net/?page_id=7 it looks like a slight hassle to make it "portable" while WindowsPager Just Works once you unzip it, without install or admin rights, which may be important to some. Still, I agree it looks like a "6 of one, 0.5d of the other" case to me too.
