Announcement from the geeknic website...there's an event
happening this Sunday.

On Sunday, 7/28/2013, Geeknic will be gathering at the Valley
Green Inn in the Wissahickon Gorge for an informal grilling and
picnic get-together.  Thereâ??s plenty of hiking throughout the
gorge, and plenty of opportunities to go Geocaching. Weâ??ll be
bringing the essentials â?? hot dogs, burgers chips and soda, but
feel free to bring some more supplies or a small
donation.

You can find the Valley Green Inn here. There is parking nearby,
and picnic spaces about 100-150 yards north up Forbidden Drive.
