Unfortunately I haven't found any FOSS MUAs that have a really strong web interface.

Valid point. I mostly use Thunderbird with Enigmail but all my mail
funnels through my gmail account. When I receive encrypted email it's
unreadable in Gmail or on my BlackBerry which can be a pain if I'm on
the road and someone is sending me server account information that I
need. Frequently I tell them to send the account and address info
by unencrypted email and send me the password by itself as a SMS
message. Not ideal but at least I can read it anywhere.
