Michael, I use LXDE on a Debian box, and I have no trouble left clicking and 
moving windows.  (I didn't explicitly select a window manager, so I'm not sure 
which one it's using, but I think it's openbox.)  For me, right clicking opens 
up a new context menu (but I changed a setting somewhere to make it do this).
