[PLUG] Software Developer: University of Pennsylvania



The Center for Biomedical Image Computing and Analytics (CBICA) is
seeking a software developer to work with world-class researchers who
are developing cutting-edge algorithms for biomedical image analysis.

You can make a direct contribution to medical and scientific research by
applying good software engineering practices to take these algorithms
from the research stage and implement them in applications that are
deployable in a clinical setting, all while working with smart people
in a great environment.

Required Skills
	Development experience in a Linux environment

	C, C++, Linux scripting (BASH)

	Understanding of source control, versioning, and testing, as part
	of the software development lifecycle.

	Ability to communicate effectively and guide team members in
	the development process.

Preferred Skills
	Experience with image analysis algorithms 
	Formal QA process experience
	Matlab
	Perl, Python
	Parallel programming (OpenMP, MPI) experience
	Experience with software packaging

Experience and Education
	Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of professional
	experience with a software development team, or an equivalent
	combination of education and experience.

Location
	Philadelphia, PA

Time
	Immediate hire.
