haven't checked because i usually just burn to optical if it's
necessary (or pxe boot), but:

i'm about 95% certain that should do it. burn the ISO version to a CD,
plug in the usb drive, boot up to the optical device via BIOS. SGD2
should definitely detect your usb drives and give you the offer to
boot from them. sadly, i don't have time to test this at the moment
but i'm fairly certain it should get you going.
