Re: [PLUG] Looking for help with Ubuntu 14.04 on an HP 380 Gen8 server

Hi, John.

Have you considered not running X on this server system? Instead, SSH
in to the server with the -X option. Then run the VirtualBox command
to get the app GUI. This does require an X server on your local
desktop, though.

Mac X server: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/landing/
Windows X server: http://www.straightrunning.com/XmingNotes/

Cheers.
