I think one way will be to volunteer in Linux communities and projects. By the way I am myself a newbie in linux and trying to get some experience.

Outline of the course is:

It is fairly cheap, has a lot of things I would like to learn anyway, but as far as getting my foot in the door at a job not sure if it is worth it.

Anyone with experience with it or viewpoints from a employer would be much appreciated.
