There are far better tutorials out there then what I typed. What OS are you doing this from?John,You can use makemkv, and then handbrake to pull the dvd's from disc and then make them a smaller file. This should work on both Linux and Windows. You would use makemkv which is unlimited use for dvd's but requires payment after a certain time for blu-rays.
