Re: [PLUG] vsftpd writing to user home folder


I'll second wanting to know the solution you found.  I haven't run FTP services in a very long time but last time I did in a global sense, it was with vsftpd.  I don't remember having a problem with users being able to login use it.

Looks like I have the following parameters on:

chroot_local_user=YES
allow_writeable_chroot=YES

What was it?  I was going to look up my notes on that, it's been a few 
years.  I was also going to ask why not scp/sftp using CLI, FileZilla, 
WinSCP, PuTTY/pscp or whatever?
