Re: [PLUG] vsftpd writing to user home folder


I simply did chmod a-w to the home folder, then created a sub folder for
"files". No problem writing to the sub folder. Vsftpd was already setup on
the server, all I wanted to do was to add another user with write
capability.

What was it?  I was going to look up my notes on that, it's been a few
years.  I was also going to ask why not scp/sftp using CLI, FileZilla,
WinSCP, PuTTY/pscp or whatever?
