[PLUG] USB to DB9 and a Null Modem

Packed away somewhere in my storage is a USB to DB9 converter. Somewhere. I'm going to consider it lost for all practical purposes. Time to get a new one.

Recent old _one_ =
6 inch USB to DB9M plugged into a 6 foot long DB9F-DB9F Null Modem Cable

Really old old _one_ =
Three pieces, with a little Null Modem adapter for those days when DTE/DTC world was more prevalent. Not sure I have to worry about ripping out the null modem for plugging into other things anymore.

Saw this one cable solution, not sure if worth it. Anyone have this?:

I think two things like this are my best bet:

Thoughts?
