I've only used it on my Nexus 6 so that is not a physical action that would occur for me.

If you want handwriting inputs available for any app,you want the other link.  That essentially installs another keyboard input that you can use.

What happens when your wrist/hand touches the screen?  Does it filter
out any input that is larger than a stylus?
