Job brief 	

 * We are looking for a Linux/Unix administrator who will be
   responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the
   infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to
   develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You would be
   working with development as well as other administration and
   operation teams to deploy code into Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Amazon
   Web Service. You will become an integral part of the team, making
   every problem of the platform a problem of your own, and solving
   them accordingly

Minimum Requirements 	

 * Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
 * Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.
 * Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as
   nginx, etc.
 * Expericne working with Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Amazon Web Service.
 * Strong grasp on configuration management tools such as Puppet & Chef.
 * Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc.
 * Proficient with network tools.
 * Experience with virtualization technologies.
 * Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
 * Knowledge of servers and switches.
 * Extensive 24x7 level 2 support experience in troubleshooting
   production applications and their components.
 * Ability to respond to critical issues, manage critical trouble
   tickets and own/drive permanent resolutions
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
 * Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
 * Experience in PowerShell scripting and script creation for
   automating common functions and procedures

Job Responsibilities 	

 * Help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
 * Design and develop infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools
 * Develop and maintain configuration management solutions
 * Develop test automation frameworks in collaboration with rest of the
   team
 * Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available
   infrastructure.
 * Actively participate in root cause analysis, identify and recommend
   operational improvements needed
 * Create and document processes including installation procedures.
   incident management, problem management, standard operating procedures
 * Handle day to day support activities including production support
   incidents, own and lead a support incident to resolution, provide
   recommendations and courses of action, identify when additional
   support teams are needed and escalate and engaging
 * Identify manual processes and automate them using modern tools such
   as PowerShell/Automate
