Right. I mean, maybe I could do something with swapping host files on

Yep, I already have that set up.

Yes. Granted, the old modem was just a modem, so all the magic
happened inside DD-WRT. It's possible I had to tweak something in its
settings to get it to work, but if so that was over 5 years ago, and
I've forgotten.
