[PLUG] hiring a DevOps role

Morning all,

I have an open position at my company, and am reaching out the community
first in a bid to avoid dealing with recruiters. This would be an onsite
contracting gig in Ewing NJ. (about 10 minutes across the scudders fall bridge)

Below I have written out a description of what I'm looking for:

Who?

Hi I'm Calvin. I've been around for a long time :-)

I am looking to hire a devops person for our eCommerce team. I am interested
in hiring someone who is fluent with the linux stack and also has strong
scripting experience, developers would also be a good fit for this role.
What?

What?

I need someone who can take an idea and 'run with it'. Work on things
like building
deployment pipelines, help integrate testing to our development workstreams,
work with our infrastructure team to build out new environments. As we are
using Azure, I'd love to get experience with someone who has a background in
using docker or other containerization. PHP experience might be useful
for debugging
but in now way is required.

Why?

Right now we are building a platform for our various brands to join the
eCommerce world. Unfortunately, I don't have time to work on developing the
infrastructure as well as the development of the project.

We want to start the bones of this project with growth in mind, simply
setting up a
LAMP server is not going to cut it - I need someone with the know-how and
guts to attack the stack!

As our company brings more brands online, we want to be ready to
grow and grow in a sustainable way.

When?

we are hiring Immediately.

How?

This is the best part, I'm not a dev-ops genius by any means - you are.
Bringing your expertise and knowledge to the team will help us make decisions
and let you have a strong influence over the tools you work with and the
stack that we end up with.

Sorry but I've never written a job description before. Looks more like a reddit
post. If you think this role might be something you would want to do, contact
me directly.

Cheers,
Calvin Morrison
