I've been screaming about all of these "smart" devices for quite a while.  Your "smart" TV probably has a camera beside a mic.  The NSA has a huge computer in Utah storing everything you Say, Do, and Go.  They know where you are at at all times, what you are doing, and etc.

See the movie Snowden for more info.  My TV is not connected and only used for looking at Bluray and DVD.  Even som old VCR tapes :-)
