Re: [PLUG] Thunderbird questions |
Alan, I still think you should look into the solution I suggested. It worked for me, to solve exactly the problem you describe. Are you really unable to find ANY user-settable options in TBird? They're all on the same options page. I suggest you give up on asking TBird support, TBird planning, or anyone else for the solution to the double-spacing problem. Focus on the problem that's keeping you from finding the options page. Once you get past that obstacle, you can proceed to follow the steps I gave you: - Composition | General and then: no = When using paragraph format, the Enter key creates a new paragraph or: no = Use Paragraph format instead of Body Text by default Hope this helps! --Fred ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fred Stluka -- Bristle Software, Inc. -- http://bristle.com #DontBeATrump -- Make America Honorable Again! And each time I have replied that I have scoured the menu in the upper RH corner and found nothing about options or newlines. I think we are in some kind of insanity loop: you suggest the same thing, I try the same thing, and then the cycle repeats. Does anyone reading this run TB from a Linux OS? Maybe they can either duplicate my (non-)results, or can tell me exactlyAlan,So, still sticking with the editor(I have other questions!), can someone help with thedouble-spacing problem?Have you tried the option setting I mentioned.what I'm doing wrong.
