Re: [PLUG] PLUG Fusion room or DMR Talkgroup

RE intro to amateur radio talk:

FWIW, Brannon Dorsey recently gave an excellent talk at the Security Shell meetup about amateur packet radio. It included an intro to amateur radio and demo of the chattervox packet radio protocol, slides at https://brannon.online/sec-shell.pdf and protocol source at https://github.com/brannondorsey/chattervox.

There were a few people there also getting into amateur radio (two, including the speaking, had licenses as well). Might be worth connecting with someone(s) from that, depending on what you're going for.
