System 76, not a fan.

They're typically 40% to 100% more expensive than equivalent hardware
on a Commodity Off The Shelf (COTS) machine, and the only thing you get
is a guarantee to run on a specific distro.

But you've already bought it, so that's water over the dam. I'd suggest
you download Devuan Beowulf Live CD, which comes default with Xfce. If
you like the way Devuan Beowulf Xfce live works, back up your current
disk all the way to the metal, and install Devuan Beowulf.

Another idea: If your computer currently uses Ubuntu, download and try
System76's Pop!_OS . If it currently uses Pop!_OS, try Ubuntu.
