One question from last night was about a wifi desk phone. I spoke with our provisioning/device folks at work and the recommendation is the yealink T54W or T53W.

If you want to setup a home system with desk phones, I've had good success getting them from pcliquidations.com. For example, here's a decent phone to kick things off with: https://www.pcliquidations.com/p16450-polycom-vvx-310-gigabit or https://www.pcliquidations.com/p26759-polycom-vvx-310-gigabit for a little more dinged up one.

A nice thing with this one (and many voip phones) is that you'll find two gigabit ports on the back, so you don't need any extra network ports to set it up. Just plug one port into your switch and the other into your PC.

It helps a lot to have a PoE switch, but there are adapters you can use to plug the phone into the wall for power.

Any questions feel free to ask!
