Re: [PLUG] Fixing broken link on Ubuntu (Gnome) desktop |
Update: the icon fixed itself without my doing anything, and it's now working once again! (I guess it must check periodically?) I thought that was because I needed to log back into the share. I've done that. Now the actual symlink works fine, but on the desktop the icon still has the X and doesn't open the spreadsheet. I don't see any obvious way in the UI to tell it to retry. > >> > >> I'm sure I could delete it and recreate it and it would be fine. I also feel confident that it will be fixed the next time I reboot. But seems like there must be some way to fix this short of doing that. Is this a bug, or am I missing something obvious? > >> > >> Walt > >> > >> > >> ___________________________________________________________________________ > >> Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org <https://cadbcbi.r.bh.d.sendibt3.com/tr/cl/RJ3PEz4DbyItLF7yJ5Na2wHEoEpQikIcylCPxScwgdx8QFSgZsTfbxpHq912QzdHkYj7oVY7-c2b8i2YPhqFXyJ8HlZZJRjh9VbdgAmuz36ecv2XDFgTyKZHqgxRBqWf2Dx3VpkZmCyK03uNCQ2AG4bTnzNG2rx9O48m0q6fHmZYdOT4nH_Cta2EmCSbrmF-5TbKz2fOnpb50QUP5ftM-x2xGD9h2FLxjHy6> > >> Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce <https://cadbcbi.r.bh.d.sendibt3.com/tr/cl/65bDRG3upWhglT7Wc2zPfU8NMNVQXAuy__QjGW0pztnMrn4ACA4dnkzqqRI9ZYQMPSC578ggDWJHXgI_kKBdrK1j-R-eJy461ieM_8NaPHOh0DVmobLV6KXkKQua9xVnvoez1j6pv7yk1xFDbPOcTVHu0Zcf7N6CLL-xey8_WgEfpizM6mqCHjYz-H5Dh-rplWXQENz4Z3c794te1iYJSk4ksdzcvcOFY8gsuJY9fY76tdqvLPHgj3G2KaSDrTaTglY86jET8OxUjsTidAhWXzmO> > >> General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug <https://cadbcbi.r.bh.d.sendibt3.com/tr/cl/B-kUPfPbVdXRm0hDju0m3cRDoKOZXbKNEXE3w4ghWlPE_p-WhpwXtiji5QHNmwwlvXhgElSmoOEYJAvnFqu0TWZmhRoA3hKfYehLdONGi-IbzmDXVnyrrjNwy0Hd9F9eknn9dwxfhfCexypskds4F8P5in2JYdqfZONlnWnbk541E0KzYSR0YeE5BVp69-l3YW_DGuisx6LmjCXTcsKAcDxzpgT_xfKhDduIlj2cqKUy1IJJgnQ_4XH4W0_AKXaiNNSBOBGDsDXt> > >> > > > > ___________________________________________________________________________ > > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > > Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > > General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug > > > ___________________________________________________________________________ > Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org > Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce > General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
