Re: [PLUG] Epson Multi-function Support |
Back to my RX-620 (Ubuntu), I've been using Skanlite without issue for a long time. I forgot that Epson has Image Scan, so I just tried that from .deb. The install went fine, but does not detect the scanner (USB). They also provide source.DaveOn Fri, Jul 15, 2022 at 1:22 PM Casey Bralla via plug <plug@lists.phillylinux.org> wrote:In my bleeding edge Gentoo system, HPLIP was broken when I tried the network scanning function. I haven't tried it lately, and don't even remember what exactly didn't work the last time I tried it. I remember thinking that HP would be "safe" since they are so widespread. But living on the edge has its disadvantages. (It also can be a lot more fun!)
