A common practice on lists to keep posts smaller is to post large files like this to a website (pastebin or a binary hosting site as appropriate), put the link in the email, and also excerpt a few relevant lines of log to illustrate the point. That keeps the email small, keeps the context in the mail thread, preserves the heart of the conversation in archives if links die, but still provides access to the larger files for those who wish to access them at least in the near future. However, there is no reason that couldn't just be said politely, as I just illustrated. There is no need to berate or coddle anybody. -- Rich ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
