Ya know, that sounds like a really good idea. It would be nice to take thanksgiving and go somewhere exotic like Iceland, Ireland, Istanbul or Italy. But it's getting a little late to get group rates for a long weekend. And lots of people would rather stay stateside anyway. How about an East Coast mongerfest this December? Philly is as good a place as any (DC and New York also come to mind). All we need is a date and some hotels or places to crash for out of towners. There's plenty to do over a weekend in Philly: Monk's. The Art Museum. Jim's. Reading Terminal. Plough and the Stars. The medical oddities museum (sorry, Mark, the name is escaping me at the moment). Fergie's. The University Museum. Chinatown.... Sure, mid-december will be cold. But there are plenty of places indoors to visit. :-) Sound good?
