This is still very cheap. I think the TriRail from FLL To FAU was about
$7. It's about $8.75 R/T from Bryn Mawr to the airport on the R1/R5
(if the fares haven't gone up in the last few years). $7.50 R/T to
Center City isn't so bad.
Figure the low end of the budget is $200 per person, including registration,
room & board, and transportation. If the dorms and registration are
that low, it's not a crime to spend an extra few dollars on SEPTA.
