further firewall folly (ethercard)

Hi,
I was wondering if someone could answer this question for me.
I am trying to use the LRP (www.linuxrouter.org) to create a firewall
for one of my companies sites. I am using a compaq 486 and I am trying
to get an INTEL eepro card to work, but for some reason, whenever
I try to insmod eepro.o I get the message
./eepro.o init_module: Device or Resource Busy.
my modules file looks like this. -
eepro io=390 irq=10
which according to "softset2" (eepro config proggie) is what the card is
now
set to.
can anyone figure out why I would be getting this message?
Thanks.
adam
