All you need to do is run the 'xhost' command on your local machine and verify that your 'DISPLAY' environment variable is set to include your local hostname e.g. DISPLAY=mass:0.0 on the remote machine. Telnet over to the remote machine and execute an X application. The remote app will use your local machine's dislpay. I'd like to set up a Linux box to be an X _terminal_ to run X programs that exist on _other_ Linux boxes. What are the commands to do this (assuming X is set up and running on both boxes and they telnet fine with each other via static IP addresses)? "My brain hurts..." M.
