Re: [Plug] rookie mistakes

I have Red Hat 6.0 installed.
When I run x windows the display is larger than my screen and the mouse is
very quirky. When it does move it is very slow and it jumps around. I have
no real control
over it. Does anyone have any ideas? Is this a common problem?
I don't know much about the hardware and have no manuals on it.
Is there a commercial version of x that has built in smarts to evaluate
hardware
and configure itself?
