Re: [Plug] Publicly accessible news server?

What news program do you use? I use Voicenets news server with KDE's News
Reader, they have depending on the day 25 to 35 thousand (sometimes
more) groups, it seems to work fine for me, but if you are using a windows
machine, but I assume you are not since you used elm to write your email,
you can use FreeAgent. Both I have used, and both seem to work great with
large groups with posts that stick around for a while. Or you can tell us
what it is that you are looking to do and maybee we can hewlp you out that
way.

:Anyone know of a good publicly-accessible news server?
:I mean an actual Usenet news server, not a Web gateway.

:The one at OpNet works fine, but it keeps messages

:does not include some key groups, such as the forsale newsgroups.

:Any info is much appreciated. I doubt that there actually is
:anything like this, but I thought I would ask anyway.
