The problem with this, is that you're limited to the packages that shipped on the cdrom. The nice part about apt is there are a multitude of third party packages availalble/added on a constant basis. Non free packages like ssh2 and free utilitys like grip. They're all there and queryable on the debian home page. Mental -- "you make insanity respectable." --Helcat on the subject of Mental.
