I am doing some work for a small company that I could not convince to use linux. :( Now... they want a small network put together with Windows 2k as the server. My question is simple... I have worked with NT in the past... I need to know what the difference between Windows 2000 professional and Windows 2000 Server. I did some looking around on the web.. but I did not find any consise answers that I can bring back to them. In addation... I need to know how the user lisence works. If I get a 5 user lisence... does that mean 5 people can be on at the same time? Or does that mean only 5 computers can be on the network? Does M$ make you buy the higher lisence if you have more computers? I think they are looking at 8 total... The biggest reason I use this list is cause I know some if not all of you have experience working with this product of which I have no working knowledge. Thanks.
