Trends in Technology by Carl V. Claunch
Vice President Research Operations
Mr. Claunch has over 30 years of experience in the high technology area.
He has worked for Information Technology (IT) users, vendors, as a
consultant and in market research. Most recently, he joined Gartner, the
leading firm
covering all aspects of the IT industry, after an 18 year career with
Hitachi.
At Gartner, he is responsible for research operations for Research and
Advisory Services, a team of over 200 analysts. A frequent speaker on
e-business transformation and on significant trends and directions for IT,
Mr. Claunch supports or chairs dozens of Gartner conferences along with
presentations at outside events. His additional responsibilities include
consulting engagements with IT vendors to refine or develop market and
product
strategies, and with IT users to help refine strategies and tactics.
There will be a cash bar and hors devours served.
