As the subject says ... I'm running Mandrake 7.2, w/3 USB devices - a scanner, printer and joystick (kernel 2.2.18). All are working just fine. Here's the odd part .. when I do a df -h, I see this: [turgon@minas-aran turgon]$ df -h Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on /dev/hdb2 2.0G 383M 1.5G 20% / /dev/hdb1 14M 3.3M 10M 25% /boot /dev/hdb8 5.9G 1.5G 4.4G 26% /home /dev/hdb7 849M 229M 621M 27% /tmp /dev/hdb6 5.9G 2.8G 3.1G 47% /usr /dev/hdb5 849M 365M 485M 43% /var /dev/hda7 11G 9.3G 1.6G 85% /Storage /proc/bus/usb 1.4G 1.4G 0 100% /proc/bus/usb Now, why does the USB part of /proc want so much space? Anybody else running w/USB support? If so, how much does your /proc/bus/usb think it needs? -- --------------------------------------------------------- Email: turgon@mike-leone.com (personal) PGP Fingerprint: 0A A8 DC 47 CB 63 AE 3F C7 39 6B F9 9A B4 1E F6 5A A5 BC DF Registered Linux User: #201348 "Pear Pimples for Hairy Fishnuts" Opus the Penguin, Bloom County ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
