I did read their terms...they are very reasonable..didn't see anything hidden. But, I don't think they are using Verizon...as they give static IPs (guess dhcp'd ip that never expires). I'm waiting to hear back from fast.net as well as for a little more money I can have 1.5 MB/s. -----Original Message----- From: plug-admin@lists.phillylinux.org [mailto:plug-admin@lists.phillylinux.org]On Behalf Of Kevin Brosius Sent: Thursday, May 10, 2001 2:22 PM To: plug@lists.phillylinux.org Subject: Re: [PLUG] DirectTV DSL Service...any thoughts? They may have restrictions not listed in the glossy ad. I received the offer also, but haven't read any more than what's in the mailer. Sounds very reasonable, although I assume they are still using Verizon (at least in my area.) -- Kevin Brosius ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
