[PLUG] Tonight's meeting...

Hi All,

Just a couple of things before you venture into West Philly...

1) Security/Safety: For those of you concerned, it ain't that bad. 
Granted, people do get mugged around here every once in a while, but 
you can also get mugged in Society Hill or Manayuk. In any case, some 
tips - If you drive in, park next to the building, the Visitor's 
Parking lot. You don't need a pass or card, just a car. If you take 
SEPTA/walk, at 6:30 - 7:00 PM the sun will be up still, and the area 
is fine. At the end of the meeting, those walking to SEPTA may want 
to get a ride to a well lit bus stop or train station.

Additionally, the University has Security Officers guarding the 
premises. They dress with white shirts and black pants (plus the 
cop-like cap), and they will give directions/escort people around. In 
some cases, they may even provide van rides around the area...

2) Parking: I mentioned that above - Plenty on the Visitor's Parking 
lot, and no passes/stickers required.

3) Food: For those organizing this, check the phone book for "Allegro 
Pizza", "The Wurst House", or "Colonial Pizza". I don't have the 
numbers with me, but these joint's always provide junk food for 
meetings here.

4) Internet connections: I will try to get RH102, which as I 
mentioned earlier has network jacks on all seats, but I don't know if 
they work...

5) Finally, and most importantly, my coordinates. My office number is 
360, third floor, Grifith Hall - This is the building right in front 
of Rosenberger. I have to take off at 5:00 PM, but I'll be back at 
6:00 - 6:15, and I will stay through the meeting.
