There already is, at least for ps2pdf functionality. Acrobat Distiller is available for Linux (and Solaris), but as it is designed for deployment on a server instead of a desktop, it is priced appropriately.


Also, there is also PStill (http://www.wizards.de/~frank/) as an alternative to Ghostscript for PS->PDF conversion.
