Probably a good industry to consider in a technology capacity are defense contractors. They will most likely have some openings. Lockheed has offices in Valley Forge, Moorestown, NJ (not far from philly) also Northrop Grumman is huge in the Baltimore area. I think there is a boeing plant around philly. And probably other places. I worked for Grumman and I surely could have settled down worked there for 40 years and retired, I would have never become rich, but the bill collectors would have been pacified. The work can be interesting and excrutiatingly boring at the same time. But the government is allocating billions for the war on terrorism there will be RFPs out and engineering work to be done.
