Mac OS and Windows :(.

You can actually incorporate that into your source document using something called PDFMarks (http://www.pdflib.com/pdfmark/pdfmark_primer.pdf), which is always better than "after the fact".


Adobe no longer supports its unix version (other than the reader).

True - at least for now...
