I use emacs for all of my development, the latest version (21.1) has a number of improvements (syntax highlighting in console mode and a "prettier" X environment) that definitely makes it worth the download. As for alternatives, if you want something similar to Kdevelop, try Redhat's SourceNavigator. I haven't used it much, but it seems to have some of the features a "good" IDE should have, especially for C/C++. -- Marc Soda ASPRE, Inc. marc@aspre.net http://www.aspre.net/ ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
