After using fdisk to create a partition, you need to put a filesystem on the disk. Look at "man mke2fs" for some details. > I added the drive, I formatted the drive using fdisk, and it shows up > when I hit "fdisk -l" However when I try to mount the drive... "mount > -t ext2 /dev/hdb1 /whatever" it comes back with unable to read > superblock... so what the hell is a superblock?
