Actually, I live in Swarthmore too. I take Baltimore (pike/ave) frequently to get to the meetings and it's not too bad. Especially since I take the back roads to get to Home Depot first. From there I miss the "golden mile" (barf). I agree that the traffic in Springfield is simply horrible. The only drawback to Baltimore Ave. is the traffic lights. Since I'm usually traveling in my Miata, I'm more at home on city streets than the interstates - when I drive the truck it's usually I95 all the way :-) I only have one extra seat... anybody need a ride tonight from Swarthmore?
