Cavalier Telephone used to be part of Conectiv. Conectiv, for those that don't know, is the combination of two power companies: Delmarva Power and Light - and Atlantic Electric. They had a lot of excess bandwidth and decided to go into the phone business. It's a LOT less profitable than electricity so they sold it to Cavalier. Eric Disclaimer: I (have done / am doing) some contracting work for an unrelated division of Conectiv.
