[PLUG] Procmail

I'm running a Cobalt RaQ4 (Cobalt Linux which is Redhat6.2 with some
special sauce and Sun seasonings) and can't seem to get procmail running
with all of the helps and FAQ's listed below:

#3 http://www.ling.helsinki.fi/users/reriksso/procmail/mini-faq.html#getting-started
#2 http://userpages.umbc.edu/~ian/procmail.html
#1 http://www.faqs.org/faqs/mail/filtering-faq/

In my recent attempt (late last night and early this morning) I used
this configuration (seen in try #3)

[time mail]$ which procmail
/usr/bin/procmail
[time mail]$ ls -alt /usr/bin/procmail
-rwsr-sr-x   1 root     mail        69844 Sep  3  1999 /usr/bin/procmail

[time time]$ ls -al .foward .procmailrc
-rwxr-xr-x   1 time     home           58 Apr  9 06:39 .foward
-rwxrwxr-x   1 time     home          310 Apr  8 23:14 .procmailrc

[time time]$ cd .procmail
[time .procmail]$ ls -al
total 4
drwxrwxrwx   2 time     home         1024 Apr  9 06:38 .
drwxrws--x  21 time     home         2048 Apr  9 06:40 ..
-rw-rw-rw-   1 time     home            0 Apr  8 22:27 log
-rwxr-xr-x   1 time     home           36 Apr  9 06:38 rc.testing

[time time]$ cd mail
[time mail]$ ls -al IN.testing
-rw-------   1 time     home          500 Apr  9 06:32 IN.testing

... and the file contents

--------------------snip-------------------------

# .procmailrc
# Set on when debugging
VERBOSE=on
MAILDIR=/home/sites/home/users/time/mail

# Directory for storing procmail log and rc files
PMDIR=/home/sites/home/users/time/.procmail

LOGFILE=/home/sites/home/users/time/log
INCLUDERC=/home/sites/home/users/time/rc.testing
# INCLUDERC=/home/sites/home/users/time/rc.maillists

------------------snip-----------------------------

# .foward
"|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #time"

------------------snip-----------------------------

# .procmail/rc.testing
:0:
* ^Subject:.*testing
IN.testing

So in this case anything containg the subject pattern 'testing' should
be placed into the mail/IN.testing mail folder that I created from
within pine.

No log was written.

I used absolute pathing in my .procmailrc for debugging purposes.

Any help or pointers to a new FAQ are greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Time
